Finding a hard money lender can be difficult. Most traditional banks and credit unions do not offer hard money lending services.

In the meantime, ask your banker for a referral, talk to friends and relatives who have hard money loans, and check your local yellow pages. Remember, not every mortgage broker has the experience and connections necessary to make hard money loans.
